I had given this a 1 star because the camera image would not translate properly. Support contacted me and we came up with it was a rotation issue. It is working great now. Thanks

I dont speak spanish, so this app saved my buenos aires trip!

The app is amazing! I used it while I traveled to France. It is really easy to use, and gave me accurate translations even my iPhone was offline. It gave me the courage to travel abroad for my vacation. Thank you for the developers. Looking forward to your better version.

Some bad moments

Be very careful with these look alike apps. I paid 1.99 for enit then every time i used it a pop up menu kept asking to support them. So i did. Up comes app store asking for another 5.99 so I paid again. Two HUGE downloads. Then when using enit, same pop up asks for more money. Very confusing. Ripoff by developers or apple? Whi knows. Just be careful.

I bought this 7-1 translation app while in Mexico when prompted by its companion app. With this app supposedly you can take a picture of Spanish text (like a road sign or instructions printed on a product you might buy in a store) & the app will OCR the text (that is, recognize the words in the picture as text) and translate it. Barely! I found the app useless. First, it would not OCR the text well. Second, its translations were ridiculous, mostly wrong (not slightly wrong, really wrong) and ultimately useless. The concept is great: an app that will translate foreign text into English. Awesome. This app does not do that, it pretends to do that. As you tell, I am very disappointed with this app, particularly having such high hopes. (As a side note, I compared this apps translation with some on-line translation engines. No comparison. The on-line translations were correct, this apps translations were misleading or useless.) Be forewarned.

it cant even translate simple sentences like "Im from Canada". picture taking translation doesnt work either - 80% of the time is cant transfer picture into words and then doesnt translate properly either. hangs when trying to switch the from language. Im very disappointed, had high hopes.

I bought this to translate Italien and Spanish. I tested it with french to english and it does not work. It will translate some words but the meening of the sentence is completly lost in translation. Worthless. Use google trans, its better.

For an app that costs over $5 it does a very poor job of translating. Over 50% of phrases come back untranslated. How do I file a complaint?

I am traveling between Turkey and Italy so thought this app would be a wonderful thing. Seems it is still being worked on since I still get a great deal of mixed up translations or ones that seemed just off enough to make you sound like a second grader. Since it is an offline product I am very pleased just wish that it had more depth and accuracy. For the price not too bad, would suggest if you can try it out online first do because I wish I did. Happy travels, or translated to italian, Felice va whiich comes out as Be Happy.
